Fu Shin Street in Tai Po is also named the "Old Market", with a history of over 100 years. Villagers used to gather to sell and buy their farming produce and daily necessities. It is still the most crowded market in Tai Po. Besides meat, vegetables, fruits and dry goods, one can also find Hakka-style hats and traditional cakes made with glutinous rice for sale at a few shops and stalls. The Man Mo Temple, the first declared monument in the New Territories, is also located in Fu Shin Street.
