Tram
Characteristic
Riding on trams is not only a good way to experience the hustle and the bustle of the city but also a reminiscence of Hong Kong people's good old days when trams were a popular means of public transport on Hong Kong Island. Running along the north shore from Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan, the tramway passes Western, Central, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay before reaching North Point, Quarry Bay, Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan in the east. Trams operate normally from 6 am to 12 midnight, though some routes finish earlier.

How to Apply
Send the application form at least 4 weeks in advance of the filming date to the Tram Charter Division, with information on the location, date, time, synopsis of the film, scripts of the scenes, cast, size of the crew, equipment list and a copy of the Business Registration Certificate.

From $7,500/ hour (minimum hiring period : 2 hours)

Remarks
- Filming can take place:
- during 1000 - 1600 hours and 1900 - 2400 hours on Mondays to Fridays;
- during 1000 - 1200 hours and 1400 - 2400 hours on Saturdays; and
- during 0800 - 2400 hours on Sundays and public holidays for passenger trams.
- Filming can take place daily during 0800 - 2400 hours for antique trams.
- Filming should meet operational, safety and security requirements of Hong Kong Tramways, Ltd.
- The nature of the film shall not be a cause of embarrassment to Hong Kong Tramways, Ltd. Nor shall it be of pornographic, immoral, defamatory or political flavour.
- The maximum capacity for passenger trams and antique trams are 40 and 30 passengers respectively.
