Sha Chau is one of the many islands in Hong Kong. It lies in the western part of Hong Kong and is known as "the Pearl of the Western Sea". Sha Chau was two islands. The sand spits of the two islands extended to become a tombolo. The water around Sha Chau belongs to the Sha Chau and Lung Kwu Chau Marine Park, which is an important habitat for the Chinese White Dolphin.
No application is required. Please complete the notification form of location filming in public areas and send it by fax to Police Public Relations Wing for record. If the filming is to take place in marine park areas, a marine park permit should be sought from Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
