Characteristic

Sham Tseng Public Pier is situated at Angler's Beach and opposite to Ma Wan with Sea Crest Villa at its back. It provides a distant view of Ting Kau Bridge, Kap Shui Mun Bridge and Tsing Ma Bridge. The pier was called "Ma Wan Kai-tos Pier" in the past. The kai-tos operate between Sham Tseng and Ma Wan are, however, no longer using the public pier after the commencement of the Angler's Beach Pier nearby. The public pier is now only for the use of fishermen and the food kiosk is vacant.

How to Apply

No application is required. Please complete the notification form of location filming in public areas and send it by fax to Police Public Relations Wing for record. (Note: Filming should not disturb/obstruct other users of the public pier. Apply to Film Promotion and Facilitation Section of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency if filming will occupy the place for exclusive use.)
