Tai O Waterfront Promenade is built on the lengthy seawall which lies between Tai O Road Bus Terminus and Nam Chung Tsuen. Walking along it, one can appreciate the glamour of the old fishing village and its beautiful scenery embraced by sea and hills, peculiarly the sunset. Besides providing a leisure area and a seawall for the disused salt pans, the waterfront promenade also functions as a pier. It is equipped with 2 berths for the ferries operating between Tuen Mun, Sha Lo Wan and Tung Chung.
No application is required. Please complete the notification form of location filming in public areas and send it by fax to Police Public Relations Wing for record. (Note: Filming should not disturb/obstruct other users of the public pier. Apply to Film Promotion and Facilitation Section of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency if filming will occupy the place for exclusive use.)
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
