Sam Shan Kwok Wong Temple located at Ngau Chi Wan is a granite building with red walls, green tiles and ceramic portraits on the roof. It is designed with two halls and three chambers. Three shrines housing three different Chinese gods can be found in the main chamber. A bell-shaped copper plate near the entrance will produce the sound of a gong when being rapped, which is unique in Hong Kong. The temple was declared Grade III historic building in 2010.
