Radio Monitoring Unit Building of the Office of the Communications Authority is responsible for investigating radio interference. A very small bridge was specially built to lead to the unit since it is located high up Hong Ning Road. Outside the building is vacant space where a satellite dish is installed.

How to Apply

Call Controller of Telecommunications (Monitoring) before submitting the application form to Assistant Departmental Secretary 1 with information on the date, time, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, power supply requirements, details of the use of any explosives and/or inflammable materials and any radio apparatus for filming.

Processing time : 3 working days.

Fees

$7,090 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,990 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable.

If extra government personnel is required to assist in filming or to supervise the filming site, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.

Fees are to be paid before filming.
