Rescue Units (RU) are to carry personnel with their rescue equipment and breathing apparatus to an incident of fire. Major Rescue Unit (MRU) has a chassis 1 m longer than Light Rescue Unit and provides more space for storage of fire-fighting equipment such as Firexpress/Fire Fogging Systems and additional rescue equipment. While MRU is designed to perform the role of a Light Rescue Unit, it can also be paired with a Rescue Tender to form a Special Rescue Squad in major incident or disaster. It is equipped with an electric winch in the front and a first response fire fighting machine at the rear. The air-conditioned crew cab of MAN 4x2 chassis can carry 6 crew members. A Light Rescue Unit (LRU) can carry 6 crew members. All tools and equipment are designed to be retrieved from their stowed position externally. New versions will enable firemen to wear Breathing Apparatus sets at their seats and equipped with first response fire-fighting equipment for first strike fire-fighting operations. It is the first strike fire appliance equipped with a wide variety of rescue equipment. Rescue Tender (RT), formerly known as Emergency Tender, is to provide special heavy duty rescue equipment for use in major rescue operations. It is the first appliance to adopt the use of swinging shelves and sliding drawers for storage of equipment, and is fitted with a loading crane and many types of special equipment including Thermal Detector, 30 and 50 tonne Jack, etc.

Send in the application form at least 7 clear working days in advance of the filming date with information on the location, date, time, story of the film, scenes to be taken and nature of the activities.

$6,870 for the first 4 hours (basic charge), $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable.
