Characteristic
City University of Hong Kong is situated in Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong. It is conveniently located next to the MTR Kowloon Station. It was established in 1984. The main campus consists of low-rises painted in white along the sloping site with a simple design. Academic 3 is a 12-storey tower. It is the highest structure within the campus. It provides a 600-seat lecture theatre, teaching and research laboratories, a canteen, common areas, administrative offices and a roof garden.

How to Apply
Apply in writing at least 1 month in advance of the filming date to the above office with information on location, date, time, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, size of the film crew, cast, equipment list, working schedule and programme.
Fees
Rental, security, cleaning and other charges depending on venues and duration of filming.

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance at their own expense with an insured sum of at least $10 million for any one occurrence and unlimited in aggregate in the joint names of City University of Hong Kong (the University) and the organisation, with terms and conditions to be approved by the University.
Remarks
- Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Priority will be given to non-profit making filming with an education theme.
- Lighting of fire and the use of fireworks, explosives and any pyrotechnic materials are strictly forbidden.
- No smoking is allowed on campus.
- Film crew members should be properly and tidily dressed while filming on campus.
- Filming must follow the working schedule and programme content submitted to the University. Any variations must obtain prior approval from the University.
- The University reserves the right to stop the filming at any point of time without compensation if the filming causes any disruption or inconvenience to the normal activities and operations of the University. The applying organisation, its employees and other persons related to the organisation shall observe and comply with the regulations and campus management arrangements of the University.
- The University should in no way be involved in or connected with any activity that would directly or indirectly project an undesirable image of the institution, the education sector at large or the community as a whole. Therefore, the University would not allow any filming of the University venues or facilities that intentionally or unintentionally promotes violence, sex or any beliefs/values that are not in line with the University's mission and objectives.
- Applicants and/ or the filming party shall not film, record or portray anything which might bring the University into disrepute or which might associate the facility with illegal or immoral activities.
- Unless a prior written special permission is first sought and obtained, the name of the University property shall not be identified and the filming organisation shall not erect any fixtures or fittings in the facility.
- Should any dispute arise, the decision of the University shall be final.
