The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building was inaugurated in 1998. The 10-storey building occupies 4,300 sq m of land area and 15,000 sq m of gross floor area. The exhibition hall and semi-open foyer area have an imposing ceiling height of almost 3 floors. The glass walls allow natural daylight in and one can enjoy a splendid view of the mountain. The 400-seat Grand Hall is in oval shape and column free, almost 4 floors in height with contemporary design. It is an ideal location for holding balls and grand banquets. At the foyer level are the auditorium and the lecture theatre in purple and blue colours respectively. Each accommodates more than 270 persons. The 3 function rooms can accommodate more than 70 persons each, two of the rooms can be combined for larger setting. There are also 5 meeting rooms.

Call before submitting the application form at least 14 working days before the proposed filming date to Hong Kong Academy of Medicine with information on the location, date, time, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, nature of activities involved, size of the crew and power required.

Other fees
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $30 million in the joint names of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Academy.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
