Peng Chau is tiny island located between Lantau Island and Hong Kong Island and east of Discovery Island. It is less than 1 sq km in area with around 5,000 inhabitants. It is a quiet island with narrow lanes and alleys, small shops and old-style teahouses. Wing On Street is the centre of the island with the outlook and aura reminiscent of the 1960s. The island has a number of temples frequented by worshippers from the island and outsiders. Both Tin Hau Temple and Golden Flower Shrine were built around 1800s. People visit Lung Mo Temple to touch the "Dragon Bed" inside to bring them luck. Finger Hill is the highest point of the island where visitors can have a panoramic view of the island, Tsing Ma Bridge and the southern coast of Hong Kong Island.
