Lung Kwn Tan Tsuen has been in existence for a few hundred years. It is located at the south-western hillside of Castle Peak and is made of two parts, namely Lung Kwu Tan and Lung Kwu Sheung Tan. It is believed that Lung Kwn Tan was the place where the Song Emperor Bing took refuge when his regime was overthrown by the invading Mongolians, who later reigned China as the Yuan Dynasty. There is a cave called the Emperor's Cave at Lung Kwu Tan and is said to be where the Emperor Bing resided during his stay.
