The 5-storey Sai Ying Pun Market occupies an area of 1,200 sq m and accommodates a total of about 100 stalls providing a wide range of fresh goods. The market is designed to the latest standards which include an air conditioning system within market floors, raised platforms in front/at side of each stall, and separate sections within poultry stalls. A refuse collection point and a loading basin are also provided. All floors are easily accessible by escalators and a lift is also provided.

Contact the Senior Health Inspector (Market Management) of the district concerned before submitting the application form at least 10 working days in advance of the filming date with information on the location, date, time, purpose of using the venue, synopsis of the film, size of the crew, cast, etc.
If extra government resources are required for the filming, the processing time may be longer. You may also apply online.

Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government resources are required for the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
