The Mobile Publicity Unit is a 14-tonne specialist vehicle, equipped with multimedia computerised AV facilities to show pre-computerised programmes. It serves as an integral and self-contained fire safety education or publicity centre for the purpose of conducting roving exhibitions at schools, public housing estates and other settings or organisations throughout the territory. It also provides logistic support for major fire prevention campaigns, carnivals and fire station open days to disseminate fire safety messages to the public. Its overall dimensions are 9.9 m long and 2.5 m wide. The interior exhibition area is 6.5 m long, 2.38 m wide and 2 m high.

$6,870 for the first 4 hours (basic charge), $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable.
