Stanley Prison is located at the end of Tung Tau Wan Road and has been in service since 1937. It is Hong Kong's largest maximum-security prison housing prisoners serving life or long-term sentences. There are a bus stop and a mini-bus stop just outside its exit. In the neighbourhood are the Hong Kong Correctional Services Academy and the Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum.

No application is required. Please complete the notification form of location filming outside Correctional Institution Barricades and send it by fax to Correctional Services Department and Police Public Relations Wing.
