Film Promotion and Facilitation Section of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) (formerly known as Create Hong Kong) promotes the development of the Hong Kong film industry.
Functions and Services
- Co-ordinates and facilitates matters related to film production and location filming in Hong Kong;
- Provides information, liaison and support to local, Mainland and overseas filmmakers; and
- Promotes Hong Kong film industry in the Mainland and overseas.
Solving Problems
We co-ordinate all government assistance to filmmakers and provide one-stop service on more complicated applications for locations or permits.
Handling Applications
We process applications for lane closure and special parking arrangement for filming purposes, in consultation with relevant government departments.
Film-friendly Policies
We help establish production friendly policies and streamline application procedures.
Community Relations
We rally support for location filming from the public to make Hong Kong a more film-friendly city.
