Kwai Chung Customhouse
Characteristic
Kwai Chung Customhouse is located on Container Port Road South, Kwai Chung. It mainly consists of a 9-storey main building, a 3-storey ancillary building and a Cargo Examination Compound. The main building houses office areas, conference rooms, a reception area, a gymnasium, a recreation room and a function room. There is a recreation area on the rooftop. The ground floor is for car parking. The Cargo Examination Compound is equipped with an X-ray inspection system.

How to Apply
Send the application form to Staff Officer (Service Administration) with information on the location, date, time, nature of production, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, size of the crew and use of government power supply. The applicant should also specify if any Customs appliance/ equipment/ personnel or details of any alteration to the Customs premises is required.
Processing time: 14 working days to 1 month.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel or equipment is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Remarks
- The nature of the filming shall not cause any embarrassment to the HKSAR Government, offend the laws of Hong Kong or be of immoral, defamatory or political flavour nor shall it impair the image of the Department.
- The filming activities shall not cause any inconvenience or hindrance to the operations of the Customs premises, nor damage to any property on the customs premises.
