The General Out-Patient Clinic at Chai Wan Health Centre is on the ground floor of Chai Wan Health Centre. Immediately outside the building is a covered corridor providing seats for waiting patients. Inside is a rectangular waiting area with rows of red plastic chairs in the middle. The consultation rooms, treatment rooms and shroff office are on the 2 sides. Basic facilities such as a desk, wooden chairs and a medical examination bed can be found in the consultation room. The space outside the covered corridor is managed by the Department of Health.

Send the application form at least 2 weeks in advance of the filming date via Film Promotion and Facilitation Section of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, with information on the name of film, the required shooting location, date, time, purpose, description of the scenes and activities, a copy of the script of the scenes to be taken, filming schedule, size of the crew, cast and a list of equipment required from the hospital/ clinic.
$10,000 for the first 4-hour session (basic charge) and $1,800 for each subsequent 1-hour session.
The charges payable plus a refundable deposit of the same amount are to be paid before filming.
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of no less than $10 million at their own expense to cover damage to the property and any personal injury or death.
All applications will be considered in the light of : 1. whether the proposed filming date and time will affect services for patients and their families in hospitals/ clinics; and 2. the appropriateness of the script in promoting health and public education and the image of public hospitals/ general out-patient clinics.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
