Mount Davis Service Reservoir Temporary Garden is located on top of the Mount Davis Fresh Water Service Reservoir, covering a land area of 1.34 hectare. Opened in October 2013, the garden is a vantage point for viewing the West Lamma Channel. The opening hours are from 6am to 7pm from May to October, and 6am to 6pm from November to April each year. The temporary garden is managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The access road is managed by Water Supplies Department.

Send in the application form to relevant department(s) via Film Promotion and Facilitation Section of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency with information on the location, date, time, nature of activities, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, props set to be used, size of the crew and cast, equipment list and a copy of the public liability insurance cover.
Processing time : 7 working days for simple/straightforward cases and payment by cash. 10 or more working days for complicated cases such as those involving consultation with relevant government departments/ property owners etc., and/or payment by cheque.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $6.5 million to $30 million (depending on the risk level) in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.
