The construction of a road and rail transport link between Lantau Island and urban Hong Kong has fulfilled a long standing engineering ambition. The view and the exhibits in the Lantau Link Visitors Centre & Viewing Platform mark the fabulous success of the project. There is a concrete paved spiral walkway leading up to the top of the cylindrical viewing platform, which is the highest point of the venue. A stroll on this ascending walkway along the perimeter of the platform allows visitors to take a closer look at Kap Shui Mun Bridge and Tsing Ma Bridge from a higher angle or at eye-level. Adorned with a red railing, a small apron is also the vantage point to see a magnificent panoramic view of the 1,377 m Tsing Ma Bridge. With the untamed beauty of the green mountain and clear blue sky, the bridge view conjures up a sense of peace and serenity.
Exhibition of a section of the main suspension cable of Tsing Ma Bridge and strands in a stay cable of Kap Shui Mun Bridge, binoculars, apron, kiosk, viewing platform, etc
