Youth Square
Characteristic
Youth Square was opened in 2009. It comprises a 14-storey main building and a 12-storey hostel, occupying an area of 42,000 sq m. The main building is a complex for exhibition, performance and workshop purposes. Its external wall is finished with translucent glass with frosted raindrops and wave designs. The "Y Theatre" in the main building provides a large and adjustable stage with 643 seats in stalls and balcony. On the 1st floor is the semi-open exhibition area "Y Platform" which occupies an area of 1,000 sq m, with a high ceiling that lets in natural light. The "Y Studio" is another multi-functional venue which can accommodate about 500 persons for exhibition or performance purpose.

How to Apply
Send the application form to Manager (Operations) with information on the location, date, time, description of the scenes, size of the crew and a copy of Business Registration Certificate.
Processing time : 7 working days.
Fees
Government charges
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable.

PLI cover
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $10 million in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense.
Remarks
Extension of booking hours is subject to availability of facilities, equipment, manpower and the discretion of Youth Square.
