The Central Government Offices is located at Tamar on the Hong Kong Island, facing Victoria Harbour. With an extensive use of glass curtain walls and green roofs, the complex is designed with the concept of "Door Always Open". The open green area between the two wings extends to the waterfront. The East Wing forecourt is mainly used for vehicular access and drop-off area, which is open for public activities on Sundays and public holidays.

Call before sending the application form at least 7 working days to Senior Executive Officer (Common Services)1 before the proposed date of filming with information on the exact location, date, time, purpose of filming, name and theme of the film, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, size of the crew and cast.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost, plus 20% overhead charges, will be charged.
Applications are subject to policy, operational, safety and security considerations.
