The Legislative Council Square is located at the front of the Legislative Council Complex facing Victoria Harbour. It is a multi-purpose area for leisure and activities, with flag-raising ceremony launched daily.

How to Apply
Apply in writing with information on the location, date, time and description of the scenes.
Processing time : at least 3 months*.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra Legislative Council Secretariat personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Payment should be made directly to The Legislative Council Commission's account at "The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd". The account no. is 511-038127-001. Deposit should be made 3 working days prior to the filming.

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $10 million in the joint names of The Legislative Council Commission and the applicant at their own expenses, with terms and conditions approved by the Secretariat.
Remarks
- Except with prior approval of the Secretariat, the film company shall not erect any fixtures or fittings in the facility.
- The company shall not film or record or portray anything which might bring The Legislative Council Commission into disrepute or which might associate the facility with illegal or immoral activities.
- Filming during normal office hours or meetings is normally not permitted.
*Each filming application will be considered by the Committee on the Use of Legislative Council Square.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
