Established in 1996, Sha Chau and Lung Kwu Chau Marine Park is situated in the water on the western side of Hong Kong. The boundary is demarcated by yellow light buoys deployed at the corners of the marine park. It covers a sea area of about 1,200 hectares. It is well-known for rich in fisheries resources and also important habitats for Chinese White Dolphin.
Send the application form to the Department at least 8 working days in advance of the filming date with information on the exact location (with relevant maps in scale of 1:20,000 or larger attached), date, time, name of film, scripts of the relevant scenes, particulars of vessel, particulars of activity and number of participants involved.
Permit fee : $180/ event (a permit is usually valid for 2 days)
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
