Hong Kong Design Institute
Characteristic
Established in 2007, the Hong Kong Design Institute is an educational institute dedicated to design training. Adjacent to the Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station, the campus spans approximately 40,000 square meters. It features a "floating platform" supported by four teaching towers and a diagrid structural system made of reinforced concrete and structural steel, inspired by the concept of a "floating white sheet". The institute includes a 740-seat auditorium, lecture theatres, classrooms, a library, and sports facilities.
