Opened in 2013, the Civil Aviation Department Headquarters is located on the southeast side of the Airport Island. It is built with an environmental-friendly and sustainable design, with greenery in its exterior space. The curtain walls allow natural light into the building and contribute to its modern outlook. The spacious lobby is in white and light grey, which adds to the feeling of spaciousness.
Send in the application form at least 14 working days in advance of the filming date to the Public Relations Office with information on the location, date, time, nature of production, synopsis of the film, descriptions and scripts of the relevant scenes, size of crew and cast, equipment list and use of government power supply.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel is required to facilitate the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Applicants may be required to effect a public liability insurance at their own expense.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
