The Hau Ku Shek Ancestral Hall is situated at Ho Sheung Heung, Sheung Shui. Built in the late Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), the hall has adopted a traditional three-hall-two-courtyard architectural style. There is an altar in the middle hall for housing ancestral tablets. The drum-platforms and doorframe at the facade of the hall are constructed of red sandstone. Its roof ridges are decorated sophistically. The camel's humps, eaves boards and tie beam of the hall are also embellished with exquisite carvings of auspicious motifs and folk stories. The hall is a declared monument.
