The Brothers Marine Park is located north to Lantau Island and occupies a sea area of about 970 hectares, which is important habitats for Chinese White Dolphins. It is designated as a marine park in 2016 and the area includes West Brother (Tai Mo To), East Brother (Siu Mo To) and Tsz Kan Chau. The western boundary is close to the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities. The northern boundary stretches from the West Brother passing the East Brother to the eastern waters beyond, whilst the southern boundary extends along the shoreline of Siu Ho Wan. The boundary is demarcated by yellow lighted buoys at the corners of the marine park.
Send the application form to the Department at least 8 working days in advance of the filming date with information on the exact location (with relevant maps in scale of 1:20,000 or larger attached), date, time, name of film, scripts of the relevant scenes, particulars of vessel, particulars of activity and number of participants involved.
Permit fee : $180/ event (a permit is usually valid for 2 days)
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
