VESSEL
Characteristic
Opened in September 2017, Vessel is an event venue and garden managed by a non-profitable organisation. It is located beneath Kwun Tong Bypass and offers a leisure covered space of 8,600 sq m. It is built with used containers and large amount of graffiti and plants. Vessel 01 occupies an outdoor area of 3,100 sq m, with a stage and characterised by a green floor decorated with white circle patterns to add vibrancy to the venue. Vessel 02 has a site area of 3,350 sq m and provides mainly indoor venues including art gallery and multi-function rooms. Vessel 03 provides both indoor and outdoor spaces of 2,150 sq m in area, with a stage, multi-function rooms and an open kitchen. Vessel is located right next to Kwun Tong Promenade. Permission from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department should be sought for filming at the promenade.

How to Apply
Call before sending in the application form with information on the location, date, time, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, size of the crew, use of power supply or utilities, and any alteration and reinstatement works to the venues/facilities.
Average processing time : 10 working days.
Fees
Outdoor Event Space
$6,870 for the first 4 hours and $1,935 for each subsequent four-hour block
Indoor rooms
Please refer to the Venue Hire Charges on VESSEL's website.
If extra personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
All fees and a refundable deposit equal to fees payable are to be paid before filming.
PLI cover
Applicants may be required to effect a public liability insurance at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the venue.

Applications are subject to policy, operational, safety and security considerations.
