Fortifications at Devil's Peak
Characteristic
The Fortifications at Devil’s Peak comprise the Gough Battery and the Devil’s Peak Fort, which were built in 1914-1915. The Gough Battery is located at halfway up the Devil’s Peak and is round in shape. The Devil’s Peak Fort is located at the hill top characterised by stone walls and is a vantage point to view Yau Tong and Lei Yue Mun. The fortifications can be accessed via Wilson Trail Section 3. The Fortifications at Devil’s Peak are Grade II historic buildings.
