Characteristic

The Smithfield Extension opened in January 1998 consists of an underpass and an elevated road. The underpass is a 150-metre tube for two-way traffic. The southbound consists of two lanes and the northbound has one lane. It is on the existing slope linking Pok Fu Lam Road with the existing Smithfield in Kennedy Town.
