Ladder Street
Characteristic
Ladder Street is perpendicular to Hollywood Road. Man Mo Temple, one of the oldest temples frequented by visitors and locals, is located at the crossroads of Hollywood Road and Ladder Street. The street is the actual filming location of "The World of Suzie Wong". There is nothing like the overcrowded, hawker-infested residential area as in the film. Instead, neat high-rise residential blocks now line the 2 sides of the "ladder".
