Clear Water Bay Country Park is one of the country parks managed by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. The park covers an area of 615 hectares, including the main hill ridge running south from Hang Hau to Joss House Bay, and the lowest hills east of the Clear Water Bay Road, as far as Lung Ha Wan. There are facilities for picnicking and barbecuing, hiking trails and stretches of scrubland and fungshui forests with Dwarf Mountain Pine, Rose Myrtle and Hong Kong Hawthorn. In addition to its scenic beauty, the Tai Hang Tun area provides a view of the coastal and geographical features of Clear Water Bay Peninsula and its offshore islands which, from a height, look like pieces of jade in the blue sea, almost equalling the fine vistas of the Mediterranean.
