The Health Education Exhibition and Resource Centre opened in May 1997 and is housed at Block S4 of the former Whitfield Barracks built in 1910 inside Kowloon Park. Block S4 is a Grade I historic building.

Contact Senior Health Inspector (Health Education) before submitting the application form at least 10 working days in advance of the filming date with information on the location, date, time, purpose of using the venue, synopsis of the film, size of the crew, cast, etc.

$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government resources are required for the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Compliments to the government and public bodies that have agreed to consider applications to hire premises or facilities under their management for location filming.
