Characteristic

The Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Welding) is located on the 7/F of the VTC Kwai Chung Complex. The centre offers a training capacity of 100 individuals simultaneously. It is well-equipped with various kinds of welding tools including commonly used D.C. and A.C. arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, TIG welding, MIG welding, plasma arc welding and cutting, submerged arc welding, etc. In addition, there are different types of facilities for weld inspection, such as ultrasonic inspection, magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrate inspection, bend test, etc.
