Old Cannons in Chai Wan Park
Characteristic
The 2 old cannons in Chai Wan Park were unearthed in 1973 during a sea bed excavation project carried out by the government. They were made in England and it is believed that they were dumped by the barracks near Chai Wan. Since 1985, these 2 cannons have been exhibited at the Knoll Area of Chai Wan Park. Inside the park, there are also fountain, lagoon, children's playground, tennis court and clock tower.

How to Apply
Call before sending in the application form to Manager (Parks and Playgrounds) Eastern 4 with information on the location, date, time, nature of activities, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, props set to be used, size of the crew and cast, equipment list and a copy of the public liability insurance cover.
Processing time : 7 working days for simple/straightforward cases and payment by cash. 10 or more working days for complicated cases such as those involving consultation with relevant government departments/ property owners etc., and/or payment by cheque.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable.
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Fees are to be paid before filming.

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $6.5 million to $30 million (depending on the risk level) in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.
