How to Apply

Send the application form at least 10 working days in advance of the proposed filming date to the Agricultural Officer (Market Administration) with information on the exact location, date, time, nature and theme of the film, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, size of the crew and details of the use of any explosives and/or inflammable materials.

Fees

$7,090 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,990 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit of $50,000 or equivalent to the fees payable, whichever is higher.

If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.

Fees are to be paid before filming.

Applicants are required to effect a public liability insurance at their own expense in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.

Remarks

Applicants are advised to study the guidance notes for location filming before tendering applications.
In view of public health consideration, filming is normally not allowed at poultry wholesale market.
