The Central-Wan Chai Bypass Tunnel is 3.7 km in length and connects the Connaught Road Central Elevated Road in Central to the Island Eastern Corridor in North Point. It is part of the Central-Wan Chai Bypass which comes into service since January 2018. The bypass is 4.5-kilometre in length and a dual three-lane trunk road. There are three slip roads in Wan Chai and one slip road in Tin Hau to connect the link with the local road network. The tunnel is toll-free.

Processing time : at least 10 working days.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours and $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block.
Additional fees will be charged for the operational costs of administering the filming activities.
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $50 million at their own expense in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR, Pacific Infrastructure Ltd and the company with terms and conditions to be approved by the Tunnel Operator. A copy of the policy should be provided to the Tunnel Manager. Applicants are advised to contact the Tunnel Manager for the insurance requirements.
