Mui Wo Maternal and Child Health Centre is located on the first floor of Mui Wo Clinic. The centre has a functional outlook of the 1970s and 1980s, with the walls painted mainly in white and the chairs in blue. It houses health education room, babies bathing & weighing room and parents’ resources corner cum child play area.

How to Apply
Call before sending the application form to Senior Hospital Administrator (General)2 2 weeks in advance of the filming date with information on the exact location, date, time, description of the scenes and activities, number of crew members and vehicles.
Processing time : 5 - 10 working days in general subject to all the required documents are submitted and the filming schedule is confirmed. Longer processing time may be required for consultation with other government departments/ parties concerning the application.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra Government personnel or equipment is required to assist in the production, the actual cost plus 20% overheads will be recovered.
Remarks
- Filming can only take place when the clinic concerned is closed.
- Erection of any fixtures or fittings in the property or making any alterations to the property, including of any fittings therein, is not allowed without the prior approval of the Department.
- Applicants shall restrict the use of the property to the purpose stated in the application form, and take all necessary precautions to ensure that the filming will not cause any danger or personal injury or damage to the property of the Department or any other persons.
- The name of the property and the logo of the Department shall not be identified unless specific permission is sought and obtained from the Department. No files and records shall be identified in the shooting.
- The nature of the film shall not be a cause of embarrassment to either the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Department, the Property itself or any of its occupants whether they be tenants, visitors, other invitees or licencees, nor should it contravene the laws of Hong Kong or be of immoral, defamatory or political flavour.
- No smoking is allowed in all areas of the property of the Department.
- Lighting of fire or the use of fireworks, explosives and any pyrotechnic or inflammable materials are strictly forbidden.
- Applicants are advised to study the complete guidelines for location filming carefully before tendering applications.
