With ancient classical theatre interior design and modern external facade, Jockey Club Auditorium of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University was opened in 2000. The balcony and main floor seating can accommodate up to 1,084 persons. The auditorium is well equipped with carefully planned structural and technological details, ranging from modern stage to audio-visual facilities. The auditorium is specially designed as a multi-purpose venue for conferences, seminars, ceremonies and cultural activities.
