Bradbury Jockey Club Youth Hostel, formerly a hut used by contractors for the construction of the Plover Cove Reservoir, is the 1st youth hostel opened in Hong Kong in 1974. It was demolished in late 1980s and a new hostel was opened in 1993. The sitting-out area on the rooftop of the hostel captures a brilliant view of the Pat Sin Leng Ranges and the Plover Cove. A water sports centre and large public barbecue area are in the vicinity. It is about a 5-minute walk from Tai Mei Tuk bus terminus to the hostel.
