Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre is a pleasant retreat where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Located at the foot of Tai Mo Shan, it is in close proximity to the town centre of Tsuen Wan. There are 2 storeys of dormitory which can accommodate up to 240 campers, with 10 persons sharing one room. Situated on a hillside overlooking Tsuen Wan downtown, a swimming pool and a podium carpeted with artificial grass are the vantage points to view the town. Beside the pool, the 37.2 sq m podium in front of a dance room and a billiard room can be an ideal set for a medium size pool-side party especially in the evening.

How to Apply

Call before sending in the application form with information on the location, date, time, nature of activities, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, props set to be used, size of the crew and cast, equipment list and a copy of the public liability insurance cover.

Processing time : 7 working days for simple/straightforward cases and payment by cash. 10 or more working days for complicated cases such as those involving consultation with relevant government departments/ property owners etc., and/or payment by cheque.

Fees

$7,090 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,990 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Rental will also be charged for the facilities (if applicable).

If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.

All fees and deposits are to be paid at least 6 working days before filming.

PLI cover

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $6.5 million to $30 million (depending on the risk level) in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.
