Lei Yue Mun Park
Characteristic
Lei Yue Mun Park in Chai Wan is the first holiday village in the urban areas. It offers both day camp and overnight camp accommodation for about 280 persons. A wide range of outdoor and indoor recreation, sports and handicraft activities are available for the enjoyment of campers. The seaview Coffee Corner (330 sq m indoor, 760 sq m outdoor) serving drinks and snacks is the vantage point of the venue. It is one of the best positions in Hong Kong to survey Eastern Kowloon across the harbour. The assembly hall measures about 250 sq m and is one of the wedding venues managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

How to Apply
Call before sending in the application form with information on the location, date, time, nature of activities, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, props set to be used, size of the crew and cast, equipment list and a copy of the public liability insurance cover.
Processing time : 7 working days for simple/straightforward cases and payment by cash. 10 or more working days for complicated cases such as those involving consultation with relevant government departments/ property owners etc., and/or payment by cheque.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Rental will also be charged for the facilities (if applicable).
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
All fees and deposits are to be paid at least 6 working days before filming.
PLI cover
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $6.5 million to $30 million (depending on the risk level) in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.
