Characteristic
Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre is surrounded by picturesque scenery. The dormitories are divided into 31 units, with 8 beds each, accommodating up to 248 campers. The centre offers a variety of recreational and educational activities, which is one of the most suitable places for scenes portraying activity-based teaching. There is an activity room in a cylindrical form with rustic charm. The outdoor area can be a mock-up of a quiet corner of a disciplinary force's training camp site. The activity room has well-furnished recreational facilities, including Chinese billiard and table tennis tables.

How to Apply
Call before sending in the application form with information on the location, date, time, nature of activities, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes, props set to be used, size of the crew and cast, equipment list and a copy of the public liability insurance cover.
Processing time : 7 working days for simple/straightforward cases and payment by cash. 10 or more working days for complicated cases such as those involving consultation with relevant government departments/ property owners etc., and/or payment by cheque.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Rental will also be charged for the facilities (if applicable).
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
All fees and deposits are to be paid at least 6 working days before filming.
PLI cover
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $6.5 million to $30 million (depending on the risk level) in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR and the company at their own expense, with terms and conditions to be approved by the Department.
