Rumsey Street Car Park
Characteristic
Rumsey Street Carpark is located on the waterfront of Sheung Wan near Shun Tak Centre. The parking spaces are located on the lower levels while other floors are used for government offices. Filming applications should be made to the carpark operator. The rooftop of the carpark provides a magnificent view of the Victoria Harbour and skyscrapers in Central and Western district and is available for location filming outside office hours. How to Apply
Apply in writing at least 10 working days prior to the filming date with information on location, date, time, nature of production, synopsis of the film, description of the scenes and relevant scripts, cast, size of the crew, the number of parking spaces to be rented (if required) and a copy of the business registration certificate.
Fees
Government charges
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and car park revenue forgone (hourly rate x no. of parking bays x total hours)
Deposit: $50,000 (payable to the Government of the HKSAR)
PLI cover
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $2 million at their own expense.
Remarks
- Applications may not be considered if submitted less than 10 working days prior to the filming date or the submitted information is incomplete.
- Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to actual conditions of the car parks.
- The applicant shall comply with the "Terms and Conditions for Film Shooting / TV Commercial Shooting at Transport Department's Multi-storey Car Parks".
