Characteristic
Tai Po Sewage Treatment Works is built inside Tai Po Industrial Estate. It is the 2nd largest secondary sewage treatment works in Hong Kong. There are mainly 2 parts in the plant, Stage 4 in the east and Stage 1 & 2 in the west. Most facilities such as aeration tanks, sludge digestion tanks, etc are located outdoors, with scattered buildings of a few storeys on the site.

How to Apply
Call Assistant Departmental Secretary (Gen Admin 3) before sending in the application form with information on the exact location (with a location plan and specific address), date, time, brief description of scenes, size of the crew and number of vehicles.
Processing time : 6 working days after confirmation of all the required filming details.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid before filming.
If extra government personnel or equipment is required to monitor or take part in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
Remarks
Lighting of fire or the use of fireworks, explosives and any inflammable materials are strictly prohibited.
