Lion Rock Tunnel, opened in 1967, is 1.4 km in length. The tunnel is the major road link between north Kowloon and the north-eastern New Territories. It has 2 tubes with 2 traffic lanes on each tube and links between Kowloon Tong and Tai Wai, Sha Tin. The toll plaza is situated on the approach road in Tai Wai.

Processing time : at least 10 working days.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours and $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block.
Additional fees will be charged for the operational costs of administering the filming activities.
Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $50 million at their own expense in the joint names of the Government of the HKSAR, Chun Wo Tunnel Management Ltd and the company with terms and conditions to be approved by the Tunnel Operator. A copy of the policy should be provided to the Tunnel Manager. Applicants are advised to contact the Tunnel Manager for the insurance requirements.
