Trade and Industry Tower, located at the north apron of the former Kai Tak Airport, is one of the first projects of the Kai Tak Development. Completed in May 2015, the building provides a total of 32,400 sq m of office space and facilities. Its design emphasizes on preservation of energy and a green environment, including solar energy hot water system, solar power generator and tabular daylight devices. The building has landscape areas on G/F and 1/F, and a rooftop garden.
Send in the application form at least 10 clear working days in advance of the filming date with information on the location, date, time, synopsis of the film, size of the crew, use of government power supply and details of the use of any explosives and/or inflammable materials.
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid by cashier order at least 2 clear working days before filming.
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
If the number of film crew members exceeds 30 and/or the property has been vacant and not manned by security guards, the applying company has to engage a security guard to monitor the filming at its own cost from the relevant property management agent via the Government Property Agency :
