Central Government Pier
Characteristic
Central Government Pier is located in the Central Reclamation Area. There is a 2-storey government offices building with a green and white outlook. The ground floor of the building leads to a pier facing Victoria Harbour where fire boats are anchored. Along Man Fai Street is a long and narrow quayside covered by pedestrian paving slabs in red and grey and restricted to the mooring of government vessels, which is under the management of Customs & Excise Department. The quayside is enclosed with gates. The covered walkway inside the quayside is characterised by a transparent arched cover with white iron posts.

How to Apply
Send in the application form at least 10 clear working days in advance of the filming date with information on the location, date, time, synopsis of the film, size of the crew, use of government power supply and details of the use of any explosives and/or inflammable materials.
Fees
$6,870 (basic charge) for the first 4 hours, $1,935 for each subsequent 4-hour block and a refundable deposit equal to the fees payable. Both are to be paid by cashier order at least 2 clear working days before filming.
If extra government personnel is required to assist in the filming, the actual cost plus overheads will be charged.
If the number of film crew members exceeds 30 and/or the property has been vacant and not manned by security guards, the applying company has to engage a security guard to monitor the filming at its own cost from the relevant property management agent via the Government Property Agency :
