Characteristic

MTR Fo Tan Station is located in the Sha Tin industrial area, with two small concourses which are not interlinked. The platform for train to Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau faces a bus stop, from which the platform can be clearly seen. There are three rail tracks laid in the station, two of which are normally for the northbound and southbound train service while the middle one is used for special train service.

How to Apply

Contact Assistant Marketing Officer to discuss the filming details and application form with storyboard/ synopsis of the film, description of the scenes and an application fee of $10,000 (please see remark (2) below).

Processing time : 4 weeks. Applications with inadequate filming details may result in longer processing time and the filming date to be postponed.

Applicants shall effect a public liability insurance in the sum of $30 million in the joint names of the MTR Corporation Limited and the company.

Remarks
  1. The fees are subject to the decision of the MTR Corporation Limited.
  2. The application fee will be deducted from the total payable amount if an application is approved. The application fee will be refundable if an application is disapproved.
  3. Subject to the operational constraints, the MTR Corporation Limited has the right to reject the booking. To avoid delay, applicants are advised to submit an application with full details of the shooting and 4 weeks in advance for filming, especially for train arrangements.
  4. Trains, concourses, platforms of MTR premises are available for hiring after midnight. For Light Rail, day time shooting during non-peak hours is possible. Please contact Assistant Marketing Officer for details.
